Stock Card request of the week
Receiving Stock Card requests from our Prime and VIP members is a pretty fun event around Stock Card HQ. When the request bell rings, all of us take out our phones to see what has piqued the interest of our members. This week, our favorite Stock Card request is Sonos.

The growth of voice-first devices as the next big thing will bring a whole new slew of devices to own and companies to invest in. This week's featured Stock Card is one of such companies.

At first glance, Sonos is just a wireless speaker manufacturer. But, when you dig into the company's products, the story is much more significant. The company's core competitive advantage comes from its software-driven success. It has made a proprietary software that enhances the acoustic quality of what you'd like to listen to across your home. It also acts as an aggregator of all your voice-based streaming services. It has established a developer community and works with Amazon's Alexa and Apple's Siri. Despite being a recent IPO, it has been around for almost two decades, and it is present across several countries. But, low-priced competitors are knocking on the door. The growth of voice as the next interaction platform will bring a whole new slew of competitors. Will Sonos be able to compete?
