Invest In The Future of Sports!

3/18/2018

The arena is jam-packed. The crowd is rumbling. Millions are watching on screens with different sizes around the world, and oh boy, oh boy, the players are superstar college kids ... Sounds familiar?

Wait a minute! Look closer. The players are barely moving! As a matter of fact, they are sitting at a table. They barely look at their counterparts... They are all focused on these screens... What kind of a sorcery is this?

It's called eSports. It's the opposite of the "offline" sport. It's the NFL, NHL, NBA, and MLB of the future. Believe it or not, the Future of Sport is here, and it's here to stay. As we speak, Activision Blizzard is building an eSports arena in Los Angeles. Several different universities and colleges are giving scholarships to the players of their eSports team. There even was a session at this week's SXSW conference talking about how the offline sport is being replaced by eSports.

Inspired by the coverage of SXSW conference by a few of our favorite podcasts during this week, we decided to bring to you a stock that is shaping the future of sports.

And, it is going head-to-head with Electronic Arts FIFA tournaments with its own version of the Major League Soccer tournament, leading up to the World Cup in 2018.
